The Drow languages is restricted and very few characters in the game are likely to learn it. It is rarely seen and requires approval from a referee to learn the language. As such your character will not even likely recognize the language and will likely even mistake it for Elven unless your character is already skilled in the Elven written language.

All Drow within the game are known to use the same written and spoken language. While their homes may be seperated by vast space their racial longevity has helped preserve the written language in tact despite long years of segregation.

For mechanics purposes Drow is considered an elf-based language.
